Pie, a New Pizza Joint
Ok you might remember Si Tapas Restaurant on Lombardy, across from Balliceaux, the old Bogart’s place. Well its now flipping itself into a possibly super sikk pizza place called Pie.
I heard about this place last night among buzzy bar conversation and I rushed over after work to check things out. The only information I could get were the menu and retro pizza logo, pixelated like an old Atari game.

Whole milk mozzarella!


There was no answer when I called the number on the sign, but I’ll keep calling back until I find out when this place is opening and we’ll definitely be there when it does. Super stoked!

What kind of oven they putting in there? It’s a small kitchen.
The oven is the big question for me. Richmond needs good wood-burning brick oven pizzas. Sounds like this won’t be that, right?
Dunno! That’s definitely the 2nd question I’m asking them behind “When the heck do you open?”
I want to go to there, but avocado on a hot pizza? I don’t'know man….
I think we saw this place trying to open up down town near the National a while ago. I guess they moved it ?
I heard something about that, i dunno, We should go on opening day though!
