I split my time between Cville and Richmond and my 2 favorite places are Dr. Ho’s and 8 1/2. But the best pizza I’ve ever had is in my hometown of Lakewood, Ohio (right outside of Cleveland) in a place called Angelo’s. But far for a road trip, but thought I’d mention it in case for some strange reason you’re ever up there.

I LOVE Rivermont Pizza in Lynchburg. Two hours away (family’s there) but the pizza might be my favorite in Virginia. Wood oven, fresh ingredients, excellent beer list. Kinda punk rock feel like Lilly’s Pizza in Raleigh, which is also great.

I go to Christian’s at least twice a week! The cheese isn’t that great but the pizza with toppings are insane. My fave is the artichoke feta spinach tomato mushroom orrrr the avocado tomato feta pizza! I’m gonna bring grant some soon…
