Just a few good words on Belly Timber

Since my initial visit to Belly Timber the pizza has gotten better with each trip.  The last couple of slices I had there were the bacon pizza and the basil/capers pizza.  While I’m not a fan of the sweet, caramelized bacon they use, the pies are looking and tasting better from the crust up.  I’m seeing and tasting a lot more charring of the edges and a more refined sauce.

The basil/capers pie may just be my second favorite pizza in the city, second only to the pepperoni/anchovy pizza from 8 1/2.

Nothing but praise for this place as it is a very chill bar to just have a beer and watch some futbol, with some great pies to boot.
